Bridgend Golf Course

Bridgend Golf 9 Hole Course

Safety Rules under Covid 19 Restrictions

Update as from June 1st 2020

New Welsh Government guidelines mean that Bridgend Golf can now open.

However, strict measures will be in place to ensure the safety of all staff and customers. The coffee shop remains closed.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

If you are ill or have symptoms stay at home.

Government restrictions mean that only local people (in general, local means 5 miles) may come to the site.

Please bring you own golf clubs and equipment as we will not be hiring these at present.

Wash your golf equipment and hands before leaving home.

It would be advisable to bring your own sanitizer with you when you visit and wash your hands again when you arrive home.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Only one person at a time may enter the Reception area.

Please wait outside the door until the person in front has exited the building.

It is essential that SOCIAL DISTANCING is maintained at all times.

A glass screen has been installed for the safety of our staff and customers.

Contactless payment only.

The toilet facilities are available, but only one person at a time may enter the building for this purpose.

ON THE COURSE

Individuals may play golf on their own.

Two players form the same or from different households may now play together.

Three or four may play together but they should not be from more than two households.

Physical distancing from people from another household must be adhered to during and after the round.

Please do not touch any stray balls.

Rakes have been removed from bunkers. Please try to smooth the sand with your clubs or feet.

Keep 2 metres apart on the putting greens and do not touch the flag.

Ball washers and benches around the course should not be used during this time.

AFTER THE ROUND

When you have completed your game, follow the one way system to the car park and please leave Bridgend Golf promptly as gatherings are not permitted.

We are very pleased to be partially open, but please help us to ensure that we comply with Covid Restrictions which are in place to keep us all safe.  Anyone ignoring these rules will be instructed to immediately leave the premises.

Failure to comply may result in closure.

Public, family friendly 9 hole golf course. Great for beginners and a good test for regular golfers.
